Advice for Dog Walkers and Dog Owners
Many of our residents enjoy walking their dogs around our Open Spaces, and we have two areas set aside for owners to train and exercise their dogs.

The Castle Hill Country Park which the Land Trust manages features a dog agility area beside the Ford Road Car Park and the Devenish Bradshaw Charitable Trust-managed Water Meadows at Laverstock features a rustic-themed agility area and training field. However, these are a courtesy measure and still require dog owners and dog walkers to behave responsibly and respectfully to other users.
Wiltshire Council Dog Wardens have produced a helpful leaflet for advice and guidance on responsible dog ownership and what to do if your encounter stray or lost dogs, or dangerous dogs (download below)
