Parish remembers the vital work of the AOP
On Sunday 10th November, 2024 residents joined members of the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection, and Parish Councillors to commemorate the work of the Air Observation Post stationed at Old Sarum Airfield in the Second World War.

Tim Cornish and Cllr Lainey Barker laid wreaths and spoke on the history of the memorial and a two minute silence was observed.

A natural wreath was also laid at the memorial on the Castle HIll Country Park.
