He has a keen interest in environmental issues and is a trustee of a national conservation charity and was involved in setting up the Wild About Laverstock online community. He says ‘being a member of the Parish Council has been a wonderful opportunity to make a difference to the community where my family and I live. If anyone is interested in finding out more about becoming a parish councillor I would be delighted to have an informal conversation about what is involved.’
