Community Information
Age UK Wiltshire: Laverstock & Ford Community Support
Support, information and practical help for older people living in our parish.
Age UK Wiltshire offers a dedicated Laverstock & Ford Community Support service, helping older residents to stay independent, connected and supported within their community.
The service is available to older people living across Laverstock, Ford, Bishopdown Farm including Hampton Park and Riverdown Park, Old Sarum, Longhedge and part of Milford.
Sometimes it can be difficult to know where to turn for a little extra help. The Age UK Wiltshire team can offer support and information if you:
- are feeling lonely or would like help finding opportunities to socialise
- are worried about money or want to check you are receiving the income you are entitled to
- would like some support to become more active
- find it difficult to get what you need from the shops or chemist
- would like information about aids or adaptations to help you at home.
The service is there to listen, understand what support might be helpful and connect residents with appropriate information and practical help.
