Part time Communications and Community Engagement Officer – 30 hours per week 

Salary Scale: SCP 24 – 28 £35,412 – £39,152 per annum, pro rata to £28,712 – £31,744 per annum for 30 hours per week, equivalent to a starting salary of £18.35 per hour (pay award pending).

This vacancy offers the successful applicant the opportunity to play a vital role in assisting the Council to deliver services to its residents.  The successful applicant will be helping the Parish Council to deliver clear and effective communications to its residents, staging community events and interacting positively with residents and the wider community. Ongoing training is available.

This is a permanent role, based in the parish office in Bishopdown Farm, subject to satisfactory completion of a probationary period of not less than 13 weeks.  Hours are very flexible and can be fitted around other commitments.

The council offers 23 days holiday, plus 2 additional days, plus Bank holidays pro rata and the opportunity to join the Local Government Pension Scheme.
