The Deputy Clerk supports the parish clerk in the day-to-day administration of the council, handles financial management, prepares meeting agendas and minutes, and acts as the primary point of contact for the public. A key part of the role is deputising for the clerk when necessary, which includes providing advice on legal and procedural matters, and ensuring council decisions are implemented. This part-time role is held by Trudi Deane.
