A newly installed pier over the ephemeral pond at Whitebridge Spinney in Laverstock will once again allow young environmentalists and pond-watchers to look out for frogs, toads and other amphibian, plant and insect species.

Local Beekeepers Venetia Coupe and Patrick Curry gave an Open Talk on Bees and the Asian Hornet. The Salisbury & District Bee Keepers Association (SDBKA) are asking for people to help them monitor the threat of Asian Hornet invasion here in south Wiltshire. They need lots of volunteers.
The Parish Environment Action Group will be holding a talk at the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection on Saturday January 20th at 11am. A guest speaker will be looking at how residents can save energy and money by future-proofing their homes.
