We are proud as a Parish Council to support this iconic Collection situated in our parish and awarded ‘Museum Status’ by the Arts Council England in 2023. Housed in a 2 Grade 2 listed building with a magnificent Belfast truss roof dating back to 1917 which was originally used as a Royal Flying Corp Hangers and training airfield, the collection tells the story of flight & flight testing at Boscombe Down and the Wessex Area. It has a special  Royal Air Corp exhibition displaying many personal items belonging to Pilots once stationed at Old Sarum air base.

The Collection offers presentation talks, runs events, hosts vintage car meets,  and its conference room is available for hire .
