Local Beekeepers Venetia Coupe and Patrick Curry gave an Open Talk on Bees and the Asian Hornet. The Salisbury & District Bee Keepers Association (SDBKA) are asking for people to help them monitor the threat of Asian Hornet invasion here in south Wiltshire. They need lots of volunteers.
On 19th July 11 – 12noon interested volunteers are invited to discuss plans for the pump track and bike park and how we intend to get the ball rolling. Attendees must be 16 or over. MEET at the gates to the pump track. email jaketaylor@thelandtrust.org.uk for details and if you have any questions
Laverstock & Ford Parish Council are installing two new sports walls on the multi-use games area in place of the existing goals. The new sports walls are intended to allow for a wider variety of ball games, increasing participation opportunities in ball sports for all.
We invite Laverstock & Milford Residents to join us THIS FRIDAY at 3.30pm at St Andrews CoE Primary School, School Hall to meet with play park contractors Wicksteed Leisure and see their proposed designs for replacing the Play Park at Whitebridge Spinney.
